• Maggie

Maggie’s the owner of Muse Yoga & Fitness! She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT) at Dana Hot Yoga in 2017 and has been teaching yoga ever since, also obtaining a prenatal yoga certification and completing advanced sequencing training along the way. These days she’s considered an “experienced registered yoga teacher” (E-RYT 200), and her yoga classes usually include many familiar vinyasa yoga poses with lots of optional challenges and fun transitions sprinkled in. More recently, Maggie also became a certified personal trainer through NASM and is now working with clients both 1:1 and in groups in the fitness studio. When she’s not at Muse, you can find her working at an environmental engineering firm, cooking, gardening, traveling, or hanging out with her husband Richard and pocket-sized pittie Bean in Francisville!

  • Haley

Haley, Muse’s studio manager, is a woman of many talents! She teaches both yoga and fitness classes and is a certified personal trainer. Her love of movement began with 18 years of formal dance training, supplemented with yoga, pilates, and strength training. Shortly after completing her BFA in Dance at the University of the Arts, she pursued her passion for fitness and movement by becoming certified in yoga, barre, and personal training. She's inspired by helping others feel strong and enjoy their movement. When she's not coaching, Haley's probably enjoying Philly's live music, restaurants, and getting out in nature with her dog Fang.

  • Rebecca

Rebecca is the lead yoga instructor at Muse and has been with the team since the very beginning! She’s taught yoga in the Philadelphia area since 2017, when she completed a 200-hour YTT at Grace + Glory in Fishtown. She grew up playing team sports, but it wasn't until her final season that she looked to maintain an active lifestyle and fell in love with yoga. She completed a 200-hour YTT in 2017 and loves the community that all types of movement classes create. Through her teaching, Nat strives to bring everyone together through creative sequences, motivating group fitness challenges, and mostly awesome (but sometimes silly) playlists.

  • Richard

Richard (AKA Chard) is the type of person who doesn't bring a chair to the beach. He grew up near the ocean on Long Island, where he played many sports, most recently combining his love of the water with his passion for athletics by learning how to surf. He's now an avid surfer and heads to the Jersey Shore all year long.

After his wife Maggie opened Muse, he made it official and got his group fitness certification from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Chard wants to help others live a long, active, healthy life—so, along with fun, expect a focus on form in his classes!

As a teacher, Emily strives to share her passion for movement, creativity in sequencing, and excitement with her students in every class.

Abby's classes are for all bodies at all levels, offering plenty of variations, and her class playlists are something she takes much pride in! When she's not on her mat, you can find her working as a full-time community manager, traveling, attending as many concerts as possible, or discovering the next best coffee shop in the city.

  • Victoria

Victoria is a born and raised Philadelphian. She discovered the profound benefits of yoga during high school. Realizing that this practice enables her to show up more fully in the world after taking the time for herself on her mat, it is this unique benefit that she hopes to share with her community during her classes. Victoria truly believes that taking the time to pour into ourselves ultimately both benefits our community and our world. Victoria completed her 200hr certificate in 2021 and is currently working on her 300hr certificate. Outside of yoga, Victoria is a swim coach and instructor, enjoys traveling, trying new recipes and cheering for Philly's sports teams. goes here

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just dipping your toes onto the mat, Gabby’s classes offer a safe space to explore, stretch, and find your flow. Gabby loves birria tacos, Russian manicures, and rainy days. When she’s not at the studio, she’s exploring the best greenhouses in Philadelphia.Description goes here

  • Melissa

Melissa offers her classes as an opportunity for grounding and to practice the balance between effort and ease (in yoga and in life). In 2020 she completed her 200-hour YTT at YogaVibe in Los Angeles, six years after beginning her yoga practice there. She moved to Philly shortly after and recently completed the apprenticeship program at Muse after attending yoga and strength classes for the past year.

When she’s not on her mat, she’s baking, reading, consulting, making ice cream, and (sometimes) running. And, in case it matters to you, she’s an Aquarius sun, Pisces moon, and Virgo rising.

She discovered yoga as a teenager and has benefited from the practice in mind, body, and soul!

Zoe is passionate about empowering people through movement & creating deep mind-body connections through breathwork. Zoe welcomes all experience levels and encourages students to meet themselves where they are - the joy of yoga comes from the journey, there is no final destination!

  • Becca

Becca (she/her) started practicing yoga in 2008 and it was the one space in her life where she was accepted for exactly who she was, felt like a part of a community, and heard words of encouragement. Becca received her YTT 200 in 2016 and since then, has been teaching yoga all over Philadelphia County to different populations, mostly outside of a yoga studio, with the goal of making yoga accessible and available to anyone who is interested. She teaches trauma-informed classes with lots of modifications and shares mantras to remind those in class that they are more than enough.

Becca recently graduated with her Master’s in Public Health from Temple University, is a distance runner, and an advocate for local and global causes.

  • Hani

Haniel Lee is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Haniel has a bunch of nicknames but most often goes by Hani (pronunciation hint: rhymes with Johnny)! Born and raised in Philly, Hani’s childhood love of playing outside developed into a general love for movement. His father introduced him to the fitness world and provided him with guidance and opportunities for growth. He says his first time helping someone with their form during an exercise gave him an electrifying feeling, so he continued to nurture that passion daily. He completed his certification for personal training through ISSA, obtained additional certs in specialized areas, and has coached a variety of classes at local Philly gyms.
